Zaid Farekh

With over two decades of experience, Zaid is a leading technologist and investor focused on accelerating the building and global bridging of technology from growth markets. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded his first software company SiTech while still in college, growing it into one of the region’s leading technology platforms before its successful acquisition. In 2016, Zaid founded Propeller, one of the region’s first operator-led, product-centric investment firms. Since then, Propeller has built a strong track record backing ambitious founders across deep technology, software infrastructure, and applied AI. Following its first successful exit in 2021, Propeller has gone on to launch its third fund, a $50 million vehicle, and today manages a portfolio of over 45 companies across MENA and the United States, with Jordan representing its largest geographic footprint. Zaid continues to work closely with founders, drawing on his operator background to help companies scale globally while remaining rooted in strong technical foundations.
