Yassir Abousselham

Yassir Abousselham is the founder of Silicon Valley Cyber (svc.ai), a cybersecurity advisory firm dedicated to empowering organizations to strengthen their cybersecurity programs and achieve regulatory compliance. Before founding SVC,Yassir served as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at leading technology companies including UiPath, Splunk, Okta, and SoFi. In these roles, he oversaw the delivery of the cyber security mandate, led compliance and privacy, drove cybersecurity products development and enabled go-to-market and M&A investments. In addition, Yassir held various security leadership roles at Google and Ernst & Young. Beyond his corporate roles, Yassir is a recognized leader in the cybersecurity community. He serves on the Board of Directors for several security companies and nonprofits, including SecureAuth, the Bay Area CSO Council, and Austin International School. Additionally, he co-chairs the San Francisco Evanta CISO Bay Area Summit and mentors multiple cybersecurity startups.
