Ramy Houssaini is a distinguished expert in cyber resilience, serving as the Global Digital Trust Executive for BNP Paribas and a member of the firm's RISK Executive Board. With over 25 years in the cybersecurity field, he is internationally recognized for his expertise in cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology management. His extensive global experience spans financial services, consumer goods, telecom, and healthcare. Ramy is also the Founding Chair & Cyber Happiness Officer of the Cyber Poverty Line Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting digital equality and cyber inclusion by empowering individuals, organizations, and societies with essential cyber knowledge and tools. Before his current role, Ramy held key positions such as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Vice President at British Telecom in Europe, Regional Head of the Cyber Practice for Accenture, and Vice President for Information Security at Visa Inc. He is an active member of several industry boards and forums focused on operational resilience, data privacy, and cybersecurity. Additionally, Ramy is a member of the G7 Cyber Expert Group and serves on the Risk and Compliance Committee of a California-based healthcare company's board, as well as on the advisory boards of several cyber and technology start-ups and venture capital firms. Ramy holds a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering from McGill University, a master's degree from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
