Diego Matos Martins

Diego is a Consulting Director at Palo Alto Networks Unit 42, leading Incident Response, Offensive Security, and Threat Intelligence across Latin America and the Caribbean. He has nearly 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, with work spanning incident response, digital forensics, threat intelligence, threat hunting, adversary analysis, security engineering, and offensive security. He has led teams and client engagements across the region, supporting organizations during cyber incidents and helping them understand the threats targeting their environments. Diego also works closely with executive and C-level stakeholders, turning technical findings into clear decisions and practical next steps. His current focus includes building regional capabilities and helping clients prepare for the security impact of AI, evolving attacker tradecraft, and complex incident-response scenarios.
