Islam Mostafa is a Digital Forensics Staff Leader at Egyptian Computer Emergency Readiness Team (EG-CERT), where he leads forensic operations across complex, national-scale cybercrime investigations. 

With over seven years of technical practice in DFIR, OSINT, and threat intelligence, his expertise spans mobile forensics, artifact-level analysis, anti-forensics identification, and the integration of open source intelligence into digital evidence workflows.

A recurring speaker and trainer at Black Hat MEA since 2023, he has presented on anti-forensics techniques, threat intelligence operationalization, and advanced forensic methodologies.

He holds the GCFA, ArcX Advanced Threat Intelligence Analyst, and GASF certifications, and is recognized as a leading digital forensics authority across the Arab cybersecurity community.
