Yara Al Humidan

Yara AlHumaidan is a cybersecurity consultant, specializing in red-teaming, ethical hacking, and purple teaming.

Yara graduated from Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in 2018 after studying management information system in business college.

Her love for ethical hacking began after graduation, so she started self-studying and building up her capabilities in this field from the very bottom of the ladder. During that time, Yara managed to get different outstanding certificates in the field such as, Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Red teaming officer, Web Application Penetration Tester eXtreme (eWAPTX) and many more.

Yara is a part-time security researcher, having membership in Synack redteaming, Hackerone, and Integrity bugbounty platforms. While doing Bugbounty, Yara had registered multiple CVE’s with different products, she also had discovered vulnerabilities in major companies such as Vmware. As a form of sharpening her skills, Yara had joined various National and Regional Capture the Flag (CTF) competition and been always among the Top three Winning teams such as the Regional @Hack CTF (In collaboration with Black Hat) & Regional WiCSME CTF".

Yara is a believer that volunteering and being involved in the community is crucial to help others shine and learn, she is also a member in Women in CyberSecurity MiddleEast (WiCSME)
