Wadha Almattar

Wadha Mutaib Almattar is a Ph.D. candidate at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) with responsibility for working in PhD thesis in deep learning and computer vision.

Prior to joining KFUPM, Wadha worked in teaching as a lecturer at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU) since 2012. Wadha received an MSc degree in advanced computer science from the University of Sheffield from 2010-2011. Her professional interests focus on data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision. Her current projects include utilizing deep learning in medical imaging for disease diagnosis. In addition, she serves as TPC/reviewer member for IEEE-14th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN). she has a TOT diploma certified by Global Academy for Training and Consulting and Oxford Leading Training Organization.
