Vinny Hoxha

Vinny is the Chief Information Security Officer at General Motors accountable for the company’s Global Information Security and Risk Management programs, protecting digital assets from internal and external cyber threats. In this role, he leads a global cybersecurity team responsible for the development of strategies and execution of GM’s identity and access management, enterprise security architecture, cyber intelligence, secure development, supply chain cybersecurity, cyber defense, and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance). 

Hoxha joined General Motors in 2007 and has held various leadership roles in cybersecurity including Cyber Assurance Audit Services, Vulnerability Management, Industrial Cybersecurity, Security Assurance, Cyber Defense, and Deputy CISO. 

Vinny has over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on red teaming, security incident detection and response, application security, vulnerability management, and secure architectures.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, a Master of Science in Information Security Assurance, is a certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
