Suresh Srinivasan

Suresh Srinivasan is the Group Head of Cyber Security at Axiata Group Berhad, Malaysia with responsibility for Cyber Security across the group, including operating subsidiaries

Prior to joining Axiata Group, Suresh worked in leadership roles in Information & Cyber Security at several companies, including EY, Vodafone etc. Notable amongst this is his tenure as Principal Manager – Security Engineering for Vodafone Group, UK, where he was part of the leadership team who set up the global cyber defence capability for Vodafone.

His professional interests focus on emerging technologies such as AI, Quantum Computing etc., and his current projects include operationalization of the Cyber Fusion Center, the Zero Trust Framework implementation as well as enabling responsible use of adaptive AI for the group. In addition, he serves as a Mentor for National CoE (under NASSCOM, India) advising & mentoring startups in cyber security domain.

Besides his 20+ years of experience in Information & Cyber Security, Suresh holds multiple professional certifications such OSCP, SANS GCIH, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, C|CISO etc.
