Marina Nogales is Unilever's Director of Threat Intelligence, which actively looks at developing a threat led approach to cybersecurity to stay ahead of cyber threats to the organisation. Marina joined from Banco Santander, where, as Global Head of External Engagement & Governance, she spearheaded public-private collaboration initiatives to foster collective defence and cybercrime disruption via policy advocacy, operational collaboration with Law Enforcement and bilateral relationships. Previously, she built Santander’s cyber intelligence capability and worked alongside senior management to shape the Group's cyber strategy. In 2023, she received the Global Leaders Award (EMEA) from FS-ISAC, in recognition of her work in strategy and collaboration in the financial sector.
Before joining Santander, Marina was a Director at consulting firm K2 Intelligence, where she led complex M&A, fraud, money laundering investigations and launched the firm’s Cyber Defence and Intelligence practice. She is also a certified translator and acts as advisor on emerging tech within the cyber ecosystem.
