Eric Tan is CIO & Chief Security Officer at Flock, a public safety operating system that helps law enforcement solve 7% of US crime. With more than 20 years experience in the technology sector, Eric is responsible for creating and implementing the company's technology strategy, scaling operations and ensuring security of its platform. 

Eric previously served as CIO at Coupa Software, a global Nasdaq listed fintech company, where he helped lead the company through significant growth, a public listing and over a dozen acquisitions. Prior to Coupa, Eric held multiple leadership roles at global consulting firm, PwC and built the firm's Digital Trust and Risk practice.

Eric has been featured discussing technology, cybersecurity and related topics on Wall Street Journal, CIO.com, Techcrunch and other major media outlets. Eric sits on the CxO Council of CNBC and is frequently featured at industry events focusing on technology, AI/ML and risk management.

In 2022, Eric was named by the Wall Street Journal as  "Technology Decision Maker from the World's Most Influential Companies". Eric was selected as an ORBIE "CIO of the Year" finalist for his outstanding leadership and business value created through innovation. He holds a Masters in IT and a Bachelors in Accounting.
