Dr. Reem is a globally recognized thought leader in cybersecurity and digital transformation within the energy sector, celebrated as a "Multiplier" for her ability to amplify initiatives and drive profound impact. A Certified Innovation Leader (CIL), Harvard Business School alumnus, and Fellow of prestigious organizations, she has over two decades of experience advancing cybersecurity maturity and digital transformation, particularly in Kuwait’s energy sector. Dr. Reem has authored publications with institutes like MIT and the World Economic Forum (WEF), and as a UN Civil Society Stakeholder Representative, she delivered an official statement at the UN's Open-Ended Working Group on Security. She is also a TEDx speaker, a mentor in the UN’s ITU Women in Cyber program, and the co-founder of the Women in CyberSecurity MiddleEast (WiCSME) Group, which spans 20+ countries.
Dr. Reem’s leadership has garnered international recognition, including the Cybersecurity Woman of the Arab World 2024, Global CyberSecurity Woman of the Year 2023, and the CIO50 Middle East Award.
