Dr. Kevin Jones

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Bayer leading; business, transformational, organizational, and operational security programs to ensure cyber protection and resilience across all Bayer business. Kevin is an experienced executive having been CISO for global multi-national organizations before joining Bayer in 2023. Formerly he has also worked in both ethical offensive and defensive cyber security roles, in addition to serving on numerous industry advisory committees and company board of directors.He is a frequent public speaker; regularly engaging with the security community on innovating, managing, and implementing cyber security. In addition, being a member of numerous Executive and CISO communities for the sharing of best-practice and cross-business security collaborations; including SANS, Gartner, and formerly EU Charter of Trust among others. He has also advised UK government initiatives serving on many industry advisory boards including around UK Critical National Infrastructure cyber security.Kevin is an advocate and champion for cyber security in academia, development of cyber skills and for multi-disciplinary research including serving as (hon) Visiting professor at Cardiff University, UK. He is passionate about technological and security innovation including advising and championing for entrepreneurs and start-ups.
