Betania Allo, a cyber lawyer and policy expert, brings over a decade of experience in public policy, global executive roles in the private sector, and entrepreneurial ventures in Islamic finance. She excels in areas like cybersecurity, data privacy, compliance, and counter-terrorism, and has held roles at the United Nations specializing in technological solutions for criminal investigations and digital platform protection. Allo, an Argentine lawyer, holds an LL.M. in Cyber Law and Policy from Syracuse University, a Master's in International Relations with a focus on International Security from Harvard University, and a postgraduate in cybersecurity and compliance from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. She's pursuing a D. Eng. in Cybersecurity Analytics at George Washington University. Fluent in English and Spanish, she's proficient in French, Italian, Portuguese, and Arabic. Allo was recently recognized among the Top 25 Cybersecurity Stars of 2023. She also lectures at various universities and frequently speaks at cybersecurity, counter-terrorism, emerging technologies, and leadership conferences. Currently, she manages Cybersecurity Innovation and Partnerships at NEOM, the world's first cognitive city.
