When you do that, you inevitably come across grandiose advice from "influencers" who tell you that you shouldn't need to waste your time on college degrees, certifications, or relevant experience. Jobs that require such are gatekeeping and are unfair. These influencers care more about generating likes and engagement, as opposed to helping others.
