LEOs are a new generation of satellite constellations positioned in low earth orbit. Being closer to the earth’s surface allow them to provision low latency services, including broadband Internet. However, their position means significantly more satellites are required to provision services, resulting in architectural, engineering, and operational changes, all with security ramifications. In this presentation, I will discuss the realities of operating a LEO constellation.
