Despite the increase in security point solutions to protect against a changing threat landscape, we still see ransomware attacks, disruption in supply chain, loss of data, IP and reputation damage daily, all exacerbated by the rise of AI. We need to redefine Security in the age of AI. Cisco is doing this by providing Security for AI and AI for Security, and by innovating in Identity Intelligence and Distributed AI-Native Security. Use AI in your advantage – and get an unfair advantage over adversaries.

CISOs have always been known and respected for being brilliant technologists, as well as for their ability to absorb and make sense of regulatory complexities, and for defending against attacks. Today's businesses need these skills more than ever as they pursue digital transformation amid geopolitical instability, and a fast changing threat landscape. And yet CISOs are still not guaranteed a seat at the board table.
Delivering effective digital resilience is unthinkable without active prioritisation and contribution by every stakeholder group within an organisation. In this presentation, Ilona will outline best practice for driving digital change through others. She will provide specific and tangible guidance to help CISOs amplify their impact, demonstrate their value and manage a range of stakeholder groups to earn their seat at the table.

Studies show 4% of users cause 80% of cybersecurity losses. It is critical to identify those users and figure out how to . A NIST funded study was performed that administered a series of psychological assessments and then sent subjects a series of phishing messages over several months. The data was then analyzed with traditional statistics and then machine learning algorithms which identified that phishing susceptibility was not based on a single trait but multiple balances of different traits. This presentation will define those balance of traits to identify vulnerable users, and then define how to protect them.

In late 2023, attacks targeting the world’s two largest Identity Providers marked a significant shift in the threat landscape: the era of the post-authentication attack.
In attacks on both Okta and Microsoft, the adversary abused service account credentials and used this access to hunt for proof of user authentication, such as session tokens.
The attacks offer intriguing insights into how we can expect motivated adversaries to level up once their targets have eliminated the use of passwords and other static credentials.
In this session, Okta APJ CSO Brett Winterford explores what’s required to protect an organization from the theft and replay of bearer tokens, and the efforts Okta has made to restore trust in cloud identity.
